Mary Yeager, 92

Mary G. Yeager, 92, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Syracuse.
She was born in Columbia City Dec. 16, 1918 to the late Eldon and Maud (Egner) Barsh. She married Richard L. Yeager May 14, 1938. He preceded her in death March 31, 2001.
Mary worked 34 years at Gripco in South Whitley, retiring in 1982. She enjoyed her travels to Hawaii, bowling and playing bingo.
She is survived by her three children, Judy (John) Crawford of Zellwood, Fla., Jane (John) Collins of Elkhart and Jim (Cheryl) Yeager of South Whitley; a sister, Gwen Barsh of Sarasota, Fla.; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Yeager who died at birth and a brother, Robert Barsh
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Smith & Sons Miller Chapel, South Whitley. Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
