‘Meat’ the Kriders The art of steak carving a family affair

COLUMBIA CITY — There are three generations of the Krider family and they all love to work with meat.
Robert and Richard Krider began Krider’s Meat Processing in 1977. It wasn’t long before Robert’s son, Randy, wanted to quit his job and join his uncles. So the Viking Corporation owed Randy a week’s worth of vacation and he gave his notice and began working at Kriders.
