Mihsihkinaahkwa Pow Wow

One of Indiana’s largest pow wows, the Mihsihkinaahkwa Pow Wow, in its 15th year, runs from Friday evening Aug. 13 through Sunday evening Aug. 15 at Morsches Park with the theme “Following Our Ancestral Waters.”
Friday evening begins with a freewill donation concert with Douglas Blue Feather and the Danny Voris Band at 7 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m.
Saturday events run from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Vendors, a living history village, a Family 5K run/walk and grand entries are a few of the scheduled events. A complete schedule and more information is available at the web-site www.miamipowwow.org.
