Military strike recommended but postponed

September 10, 2013

(Sept. 10, 2013) U.S. President Barack Obama offered his opinion on the apparent chemical attack in Syria Aug. 21.

After viewing countless videos and photographic images along with medical reports, President Obama, in a television address, said his recommendation was to make a military strike against Syria.

However, he did agree to hold off on the strike until more discussion could be held with other United Nation leaders. President Obama did make it clear that should a military strike be the nation's response, he would not send troops to Syria.

See Wednesday's issue of The Post & Mail for more coverage on the televised address.
