MILL-AND-FILL: Traffic jams expected Friday

COLUMBIA CITY — As the Columbia City Street Department works to quickly complete an emergency repair under East Van Buren Street, other crews are preparing for a major undertaking of U.S. 30, which is expected to begin Friday morning. The City of Columbia City announced Tuesday evening that a second emergency repair of a sewer main under East Van Buren Street would have to take place this week. Brooks 1st Construction will begin mill-and-fill paving U.S. 30 between Ind. 9 and Lincolnway.
