MR./ MISS WHITLEY CO.: 4-Hers prep for scholarship program

COLUMBIA CITY — A competitive field of 25 contestants will vie for the title of Mr. and Miss Whitley County during the annual 4-H scholarship program to be held at the Columbia City First Church of God July 1.
Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. with the program beginning at 7 p.m.

There is a suggested $1 donation for admission, which will be given to the winners of the Hester Adams Memorial Award.

Participants are from each of the county’s high schools — Columbia City High School (CCHS), Whitko High School (WHS) and Churubusco Junior-Senior High School (CJSHS) as well as Clover Hill and Thompson Academy and Homestead High School.
