Myron C. Brown, 59, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 15, 1952, in Fort Wayne to Charles E. and Ramona E. (Hine) Brown.
He is survived by his mother, Ramona E. Brown of Decatur; four brothers, Kevin (Sandy) Brown and Hugh (Taya) Brown, both of Decatur, Kent Brown of Stamping Ground, Ky. and Jerry (Diane) Brown of Decatur; two sisters, Trudy Brown of Decatur and Rosemary (Keith) Robertshaw of Van Wert, Ohio; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Bruce.
He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Decatur. He was a member of the Indiana/Kentucky Carpenters Union #232 from which he retired from in 2008.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home with a reciting of the Holy Rosary at 3:30 p.m.
The funeral service will held at 11 a.m. Wednesday also at the funeral home with calling one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Officiating will be Father David Voors and burial will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Maryâ€™s Building On Our Heritage Fund.
