Nancy Jo Reese, 60, of Andrews, passed away at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at her home.
Nancy was born May 1, 1951 in Huntington to Rolland and Eloise Hutchings Reese.
Her parents preceded her in death. She was employed as a caregiver and secretary.
Her many joys included being near the water, taking care of her birds, gardening, quilting, delighting over her grandchildren who called her “Nana” or Grandma. She also enjoyed spending time with David, the love her of life.
Nancy is survived by her soul mate, David Jones, Andrews, two sons, Robert R. Dillon, Columbia City, and Dillon Jones, Huntington, two daughters, Tammy R. (Randy) Coyle-Walter, Columbia City, Amanda B. Dillon-Deutsch, Columbia City, a sister, Salee Reese, Fort Wayne, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Numerous acquaintances considered her a special friend.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Dillon, and a sister, Susan Cathryn Switzer.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington with the Rev. Don Rentschler officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Huntington.
In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to Cancer Services of Huntington or Parkview Hospice of Huntington in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN 46750.
