Nancy Wallace, 80

Nancy S. Wallace, 80, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. Born in Whitley County, Wallace worked as a teller with Indiana Bank/Summit Bank for 12 years, retiring in 1989. She was a member and a volunteer at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. “Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother and a friend to all. She will be greatly missed.”
Surviving are her daughter, Cheryl S. Burns of Albion; grandchildren, Cari and Tom (Whitney) Burns; great-grandchild, Evan Burns; brother, Lynn Pendry of Alaska; and sister, Shirley Hurley of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert Wallace; daughter Patricia Wallace; and her parents, Russell and Treva Pendry.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 3705 South Anthony Blvd. with calling one hour prior. Rev Jeff Geisler officiating. Calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road. Burial in Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam.
