CHURUBUSCO — Churubusco Junior-Senior High School’s show choir program has maintained success in spite of ongoing leadership change.

Aaron Childress is the fourth director for the program in four years.
The school’s show choir, New Era, has had a banner year with first-year director Childress. He said he stepped into a situation that created the opportunity to oversee success in the program.

The choir has brought home many awards and accomplishments, including winning Grand Champion at Homestead High School’s recent show choir invitational.

A support network of parents, along with the current group of students, has aided New Era in its years of transitioning between directors.
