NEW PRINCIPAL: WCCS congratulates, meets Hoag

July 20, 2012

COLUMBIA CITY — The Whitley County Consolidated School (WCCS) board officially congratulated Jacob Hoag, appointed Northern Heights Elementary School principal, at their meeting Monday.
The appointment was made when Robert Hoke retired as principal after 27 years of service.
Hoag has been working at Madison Elementary School in Warsaw, but expressed a wish to return to WCCS.
“We are delighted to have Mr. Hoag with us tonight for the board to be able to meet him,” said O’Connor. “I just wanted to mention that he has much experience in the area of school improvement, staff development, communications and curriculum.”
After shaking hands with each school board member, Hoag expressed his appreciation for the appointment to Northern Heights Elementary School.
“Thank you, it’s definitely a pleasure to be back in Whitley County,” said Hoag. “I’m really excited and really looking forward to the challenges ahead.”
