Newspaper delivery effort resumes today

January 8, 2014

COLUMBIA CITY – The Post & Mail successfully published its Monday and Tuesday editions, but due to the government-imposed travel restrictions from the winter storm and blizzard, delivery of the newspaper was substantially curtailed.

An all-out effort to deliver Wednesday, Tuesday and Monday editions to Post & Mail subscribers resumes today. However, because of the continuing treacherous roadways, subscribers can expect delay in delivery.

As always, the newspaper’s delivery force will weigh the risk of their personal safety when attempting to fulfill their obligation to deliver The Post & Mail.

The newspaper staff and carriers appreciate the patience and understanding of the public during these extremely challenging weather conditions.
