COLUMBIA CITY — Nick S. Leisinger, 24, of Columbia City, died Thursday, March 8, 2012, at his home.
He was born Feb. 27, 1988, in Waverly, Iowa, a son of Steven R. and Teresa L. (White) Leisinger.
In 1991, his family moved to Angola and later to Marion before moving to Silver Lake.
In December, 2006, Nick moved to his home in Columbia City.
He was employed at B.E. Computers and previously at Alpha Products in Elkhart.
Surviving relatives include his parents, Steve & Teresa Leisinger; a sister, Jamie (Chris) Elvidge; a brother, Jacob Leisinger; and a nephew, Lucas Elvidge, all of Columbia City.
Grandparents surviving are Lois Leisinger of Rice Lake, Wisc. and Howard and Karen White of Shell Rock, Iowa.
His paternal grandfather, Wayne Leisinger, preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City with the family receiving friends after 3 p.m.
