WHITLEY COUNTY EXPO: Event to bring county ‘under one roof’

March 10, 2014

COLUMBIA CITY — A sample of Whitley County nonprofit agencies, companies and service providers will gather together at Indian Springs Middle School for the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce’s annual expo, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Executive Director Doug Brown said the event offers a chance for residents to get a “taste of what is available in Whitley County under one roof.”

Last year, the event drew in more that 1,500 visitors. Brown said he anticipates hitting that number again this year.

“People see the value of what the expo can bring to both vendors and visitors,” said Brown.”It offers something for everyone. If people are looking for a chance to get out and get connected, this is a great opportunity to do that.”
