Norma Munk, 82

Norma Jean Munk, 82, of Albion, passed away at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
Born February 3, 1930, in Noble County, she was the daughter of Marlo and Eunice (Kiester) Stangland.
A lifetime resident of Noble County, she graduated from Wolf Lake High School with the Class of 1948.
On Nov. 28, 1948, she married James W. Munk at Wolf Lake Baptist Church. She retired from Dana Weatherhead, Columbia City in 1989.
Surviving relatives include her sons, Marlo “Bud” L. (Nancy) Munk and Phillip E. Munk both of Albion; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Munk; daughter, Connie S. Munk and daughter-in-law, Pamela Sue Munk.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Monday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City.
The funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor George Cecil of the Cornerstone Wesleyan Church officiating. The burial will be at Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam.
