**NOTICE OF RATE CHANGE & PUBLIC HEARING** Property owners and other interested parties in or served or to be served by the Tri-Lakes Regional Sewer District, are hereby notified that Ordinance No. 2013-2 establishing connection charges was introduced at a meeting of the Districts Board of Trustees held on October 14, 2013. At a meeting of the Board of Trustees to be held at 6:00 p.m. on November 11, 2013 at the Tri Lakes Regional Sewer District Offices, 5240 N. Old 102, Columbia City, IN 46725, there will be a public hearing on the matter of connection charge, and consideration of adoption of said Ordinance No. 2013-2, which provides in part as follows: Section 16. The owner of any lot, parcel of real estate, or building in the Phase I & Phase II Service Area connecting to the sewage works, prior to be permitted to make a connection, shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, County, and District laws, rules, and regulations, and shall pay a connection charge which shall be determined as follows: (a) $5,960 plus 3% for each year from 2001 to the year of connection, plus (b) all additional costs of supplying service to the property

In addition, each property owner shall be responsible for connecting the building lateral sewer to the public sewer as defined in Section 1 of the Sewer Use Ordinance.
