OLD SETTLERS SCHEDULE: Columbia City festival starts today

Carnival rides from Poor Jack’s Amusement were parked at the Whitley County 4-H Fairgrounds Monday morning, waiting to setup for the 100th Old Settlers Day & American Legion Festival. The five-day festival begins today and will conclude Saturday night. Midway attractions open daily at 5 p.m. with extended hours Thursday and Saturday — opening at 1 p.m.

Every day
•Poor Jack’s Amusement Midway — 5 to 11 p.m. daily Tuesday through Saturday;Midway wristband discount from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday and Saturday.

*Whitley County Historical Museum — Open tours & Quilt Show Tues. - Thurs. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, Friday 9 a.m. to Noon

*American Legion Bingo — Tues. 5 to 11 p.m., Wednesday - 5 to 11 p.m., Thursday - 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday - 5 to 11 p.m. and Saturday - 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., at the Legion tent on the Midway.

Tuesday
