A ribbon cutting was held Tuesday afternoon to commemorate the opening of a new business in downtown Columbia City. Mayor Ryan Daniel cut the ribbon to officially open Bugsy’s Downtown Pizza and Ice Cream Parlor. The restaurant specializes in handmade pizza, breadsticks, deep dish pizza, Bugsy Bombs and hand-dipped hard ice cream and is located at 207 West Van Buren in Columbia City across from Ball Furniture. The grand opening will continue throughout the week.
