Paul Radke, 70

Paul C. Radke, 70 of Somerset Township in Jerome, Mich., passed away Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at his home.
He was born Oct. 3, 1941, in Detroit to Peter P. and Eloise C. (DeWitt) Radke.
Paul lived his early life in Indiana and then in southern Michigan.
He moved to the Jerome area 14 years ago. He graduated from Columbia City High School in 1960.
He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy.
Paul was employed at the Ford Motor Company at the Dearborn Assembly Plant where he was a supervisor in shipping and receiving, retiring in 1996. He enjoyed farming, refurbishing cars and he loved animals.
Surviving are three sisters, Patricia Munsel of Onsted, Lynn (Ken) Maurer of Jackson, Sandra Worden of Jerome; one brother, Michael (Shirley) Radke of Columbia City; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother in law, Gary Worden and one nephew, Randy Walkowe.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Addison, Mich. with Kerby Fannin officiating.
Burial will take place in Franklin/Tipton Cemetery, Franklin Township, Mich. The visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
