CHURUBUSCO — Pauline McBride, 89, of Churubusco, died at 7:10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012 at her residence in Churubusco.
She was born Feb. 14, 1923, in Churubusco, a daughter of Bert J. and Edith (Bice) Grim.
On June 7, 1941, she was married in Angola to Ralph R. McBride, who preceded her in death Nov. 13, 1992.
The surviving relatives include two sons, Rodger McBride of Huntertown and Steven C. McBride of Churubusco; three daughters Gayle Ross of Savannah, Ga., Kathy (Dan) Nichter of Columbia City, and Marilyn (Rusty) Reed of Churubusco; nine grandchildren and one stepgrandchild; 16 great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Grace Surface and Blanche Kumfer Kurtz.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, with Rick Van Horn, officiating.
The family will receive friends & family at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, or one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Huntertown.
