Phillip Dingus, 61

Phillip Marin Dingus, 61, of Whitley County, passed away Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at 2:20 p.m. in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
He was born Nov. 28, 1950, in Hite, Ky. to Lacy and Pauline (Shepherd) Dingus.
He has lived in Whitley County since 1963. He previously worked for Larwill Products as a wire cutter.
Surviving relatives include four sisters, Patricia Minnix of Pierceton, Nancy Woods of South Whitley, Willa Fay Dingus and Hester Dingus both of Pierceton; two brothers, Danny (Karen) Dingus of South Whitley and Mitchell (Connie) Dingus of New Concord, OH and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday at 2 p.m. at Boonville Cemetery, Whitley County with Pastor Carl Hiemstra officiating. No calling is planned.
