Phillip Hatfield died Monday, May 14, 2012.
He was born Feb. 10, 1948, the son of James and Virginia Hatfield of Columbia City.
Hatfield served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann (Imler) Hatfield, previously of Columbia City; son, Joseph Hatfield of LaPorte; daughter, Mindy Deardurff of Chesterton; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; brothers, Dennis and James Jr., along with 17 nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the South Haven Christian Church, 708 Juniper Road, Valparaiso, IN.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks contributions may be made to VNA Hospice Center or Spring Valley Homeless Shelter, Valparaiso.
