PINK OUT: ’Busco sweeps West Noble

Churubusco’s volleyball team hosted a breast cancer awareness fundraiser this week, and Thursday night was dubbed “Pink out” night, as the Lady Eagles wore pink uniforms. CHURUBUSCO — Churubusco’s volleyball team hosted a breast cancer awareness game Thursday, and beat West Noble in three games.

The Lady Eagles sported pink uniforms, sold wristbands and buttons, as well as a “chuck a duck” competition to raise money — and beat Northeast Corner Conference foe West Noble 25-18, 25-19 and 25-20.

Alisha Farner led ’Busco in aces with six. Lacey Pulley had 25 assists and 13 digs.
