POP TABS NEEDED: Nearlly a million collected for Ronald McDonald House

Brian Everly, a veteran plant manager for Omni Source, recently dropped off more than 58 pounds of aluminum pop tabs collected by the Omni Source employees.

COLUMBIA CITY — Many Whitley County children and families have used the Ronald McDonald House in both Indianapolis and Fort Wayne. Aluminum tabs collected help underwrite the cost of their stay in the house. Several of Whitley County’s elementary schools, churches, individuals and organizations have collected tabs from time to time. County employees, with the support of the Whitley County Commissioners, created two permanent sites for tab drops.
