POWER OUTAGE

February 7, 2014

WHITLEY COUNTY (Feb. 7, 2015) -- More than 8,000 Whitley County residents are without power this morning. Power has been restored to traffic lights along U.S. 30.

Whitley County Consolidated Schools in closed.

The outage effects those residents with electric service from REMC and Indiana Michigan Power. Columbia City residents with city power are not impacted.

At 8 a.m. the Whitley County YMCA announced it is open for those who need a warm place to stay.
