PROSECUTOR RACE HEATS UP: Second of a three-part series

Local races are heating up in Whitley County as residents are preparing to cast their votes in Tuesday’s primary election.

Three Republican seats are contested on the ballot — House Representative, Whitley County Prosecutor and Whitley County Sheriff.

The candidates of these races have been present at numerous community events to share their viewpoints on several issues.

In the prosecutor’s race, incumbent Matthew Rentschler is opposed by Bruce Scott.
