RECIPE OF THE WEEK: Cheese dip

Cheese Dip
3 green onions, chopped
1 to 2 Tbsp. butter
1 (16 oz.) cont. sour cream
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (12 oz.) pkg. sharp cheddar cheese
minced or powdered garlic, to taste

Cut off top of round loaf of bread. Pull or scoop out center and save. Brown onions and garlic in butter. Mix cream cheese, sour cream and cheddar cheese, then add onion-garlic mix. Place inside scooped out bread loaf, cover with foil and bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 350 degrees. Serve with scooped out bread or crackers.
