COLUMBIA CITY â€” Winter weather may be putting a damper on many resolutions, but as the first month of 2014 draws to a close, health and fitness experts are encouraging residents to not give up on their goals.
Jodi Parnell is a health and fitness coach for Whitley Countyâ€™s YMCA. She teaches whole living workshops that spur participants to make healthier lifestyle choices.
â€śItâ€™s not just about exercise,â€ť Parnell said. â€śItâ€™s about nutrition and exercise working together.â€ť
Those who looked to the new year as a marker for health may have jumped into a resolution without proper action plans.
â€śYou might be slipping on some of those goals, but itâ€™s never too late to get back on track,â€ť Parnell said.
