The Farmer’s Market ends its season with a Harvest Moon festival from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday on the courthouse square. Special events include contests for the best fall recipe, pumpkin and oddest vegetable and include children’s games. Last year’s event brought the unusual specimens shown above, the winner for the largest pumpkin and some very long unidentified veggies.
