Cameron Evans, 13, a seventh grader at Indian Springs Middle School, attends the after-school program every Wednesday. â€śI wish more kids would come because itâ€™s really fun!â€ť
Maddie Evans, 15, student at Eagle Tech Academy and a regular to The Center said she â€ślovesâ€ť The Center. â€śIt feels as if itâ€™s another family,â€ť said Evans. â€śMy heart is literally filled with love when I leave this place.â€ť
Peyton Maul, a first-time visitor to the program said he enjoyed being at The Center because of the â€śfood, games, as well as the nice and caring people.â€ť
The after-school programs provide students the opportunity to learn new skills including cooking, art, sewing, self-defense, weight lifting, and time management. â€śItâ€™s pretty wide open and we have lots of fun,â€ť Boyles said. Programs provide both structure and freedom to allow students a chance to address deep values such as humility, honor and faith.
