KIT MEMORIES: Kit Redman memorial event June 9 at Col. City Elks

COLUMBIA CITY – A gathering to celebrate and remember the life of Richard Kit Redman will
be held Saturday, June 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Columbia City Elks Lodge #1417, 109 S. Main St., Columbia City.
Kit Redman passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 22, at his home in Savannah, Ga. He is survived by his wife,
Carmen Weilacher Redman; son Aaron, of Athens, Ga.; daughter Monica, of New
York, N.Y.; and three brothers, Mike ,of Columbia City; Kirby, of Minocqua, Wisc.; and
Brian, of St. Louis, Mo.
"Please join Kit’s relatives, friends, classmates, teachers and football team
members (he was captain of the undefeated 1967 CCJHS team) to share thoughts,
stories, laughs and toasts to a really great guy," note organizers. "We hope to see you there."
