Reuben Schwartz, 67

Reuben Schwartz, 67, a resident of Cleveland Township, died at 5:29 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, in the Memorial Regional Hospital, Hollywood, Fla.
He was born Nov. 9, 1946, in Allen County, a son of David and Anna Irene Miller Schwartz.

On Oct. 4, 1964, he was united in marriage to Martha Graber. She preceded him in death Nov. 5, 1990.

Surviving relatives include his children, Anna (Paul) Delagrange of South Whitley, Joe (Marie) Schwartz of Wallingford, Ky., Jonas (Irene) Schwartz of Grabill, Noah (Lorene) Schwartz of New Haven, Jesse (Mary) Schwartz of South Whitley, Esther (Ervin) Lengacher, Samuel (Elizabeth) Schwartz, John (Betty) Schwartz, Rachel (John) Hilty, Sylvia (Marcus) Hilty and Andrew (Laura Jean) Schwartz all of South Whitley; 65 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, John Henry, Samuel, Micheal, Amos, David Schwartz all of South Whitley; sisters, Clara Graber of Middlebury, Rosa (Jonas) Zehr of Grabill, Sarah (Ed) Schmucker of New Haven, Mary (Jacob) Miller of Grabill, Anna (Jacob) Schwartz of Grabill and Susan (Joe) Steury of Quincy, Mich.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Emma Schwartz.
The funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at the family residence 5580 W. Whitley Rd., South Whitley, with Bishop Joe N. Schwartz officiating. Burial will be in the Cleveland Township Amish Cemetery. The visitation will be Wednesday evening and all day Thursday and Friday at the family residence.
The funeral arrangements are by the Smith and Sons Miller Chapel in South Whitley.
