Richard Sack, 90

Richard Frederick Sack, 90, died Saturday, July 23 in Plano, Texas.
He was born Feb. 10, 1921 in Ligonier.
Sack served in the U.S. military during World War II, earning seven Bronze Stars.
He is survived by his wife, Lurene S. Sack; his daughter, Peggy Sue Malloy of Dallas; sister, Yetta Stage Olsen of Ligonier; and his grandchildren.
A funeral service in will be held Thursday, at 2 p.m. at Yeager Funeral Home in Ligonier with Pastor Stanley Wilson officiating.
Calling is from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
Burial will take place at Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier where full military honors will be conducted.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Society of the Third Infantry Division, U.S. Army, Outpost 35.
