ROAD WORK: Board awards street contract to Niblock

COLUMBIA CITY — Columbia City’s Board of Works and Safety selected a company to do its street work for the summer of 2013.

Columbia City Street Department Superintendent Kelly Cearbaugh gave his recommendation of Niblock Excavating, who was awarded the bid for a total of $113,800.

There were two other companies that bid on the project, but Niblock had the low bid by more than $25,000.
