Robert Lewis, 67

Robert “Bob” Lewis, 67, a resident of Columbia City, passed away unexpectedly June 23, 2011 in San Pedro, Calif.
Lewis, a native of Oklahoma, was born April 17, 1944.
A self-employed construction worker, he retired in 2005, and had lived most of his adult life in the Indianapolis and Peru areas.
He attended the New Hope Wesleyan Church, west of Columbia City.
On Dec. 31, 2007, he was married to Nancy Guisinger, and had lived in Columbia City since that time. She survives.
Also surviving are four step-children, Jackie (Clarence) Worley of Churubusco, Todd Guisinger of Butler, Leif (Bobbie) Hasheed of San Pedro, Calif., and Jason Guisinger of Tri-Lakes; four step-grandchildren Joseph Worley, Sarah Doan, Zakie Waheed, and Leiam Nasheed; and two ste-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his first wife Cheryl.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday in New Hope Wesleyan Church, 971 North 400 West, with Pastor Jason Tash, officiating.
Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
