Rosaline DeTurk, 83

Rosaline May DeTurk, 83, a resident of Columbia City, died at 9:53 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Sept. 21, 1927 in Kokomo, a daughter of Clarence and Amanda Christine Miller Gunter. Her formative years were spent in Kokomo, where she graduated from high school.
On June 16, 1948, she was united in marriage to Richard Walter DeTurk. They made their home in Wabash, Peru and North Manchester. Mr. DeTurk died Oct. 26, 2008 and she later moved to Columbia City.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Paul (Rita) DeTurk of Columbia City.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Celesta Joyce DeTurk and 15 brothers and sisters.
In keeping with the wishes of Mrs. DeTurk, there will be no visitation or service.
The arrangements are by Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.
