Rose Hulman winners

The Fort Wayne Franchise 18U baseball team won the Diamond Play Tournaments Rose Hulman Classic June 23.

The team won six of its seven games and beat the Indy Nitro in the final game, 9-3.

Columbia City baseball player Justin Stout (second row, sixth from left) is on the team, as well as players from Bishop Dwenger, Bishop Luers, Eastside and Southern Wells High Schools, including Michael DePrez, Jayden Lilly, Jeff Mugg, Trey Sanfrey, Evan Fenker, Cameron Kahlenbeck, Josh Leidig, Justin Stout, Koty Wolf, Tony Hoch, Justin Kendall, Jacob Cannady, Alex Stibbe Jr., Will Sherlock, Nick Carroll, Tony Bottone and Isaac Bennett.

The team is coached by Mark DePrez, Mark Mugg, Phil Fenker and Chad Kahlenbeck.
