Rosetta Mercer, 90

Rosetta B. Mercer, 90, a resident of Fort Wayne and widow of Rex P. Mercer, died at 9:34 a.m. Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
She was born in Hartford City Nov. 4, 1920, a daughter of William B. F. and Isabell (Emery) Boothby.
The surviving relatives include her daughters, Rosalie Adams, Ruth Mercer and Rita White; a daughter-in-law, Joan Mercer of Big Lake; two special daughters, Marilyn Nickelson of Fort Wayne and Priscilla Scott of Marion.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Byron Health Center, 12101 Lima Road, with Pastor Michael Lederman, officiating. The family will receive friends at Byron Health Center one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam.
