Ruthanna Chamness, 88

Ruthanna G. Chamness, 88, of Warsaw, died at 7:05 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11, 2010 at Grace Village, Winona Lake.

She was born September 7, 1922 in Paw Paw Township, Wabash County, a daughter of Fred Andrew and Hazel Marie (Oswalt) Gurtner. She married Robert Morris Chamness.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 832 E. Center Street, Warsaw with visitation from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. The private burial will be in Friends Cemetery, Wabash.

Preferred memorials are to A.L.S. Arrangements are being completed by Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.
