S. Whitley biz denied electrical hookup until owner pays bill

SOUTH WHITLEY— Joe and Teresa Calhoun attended the South Whitley Town Council meeting on Tuesday evening regarding the building they own on Broad Street, which housed a pallet business until Feb. 14.
With approximately $12,000 delinquent on past utility bills, the Calhouns questioned why a prospective business (who wants to rent the facility) was denied electrical hook-up.
