S. Whitley event brings town together

SOUTH WHITLEY — Christmas spirit and holiday cheer will come to South Whitley by way of a town-wide holiday festival.

Katey Till, a South Whitley resident, joined with several other community members to coordinate Home for the Holidays, Dec. 8 from 3 to 6 p.m.

“There’s been several people who have mentioned the idea of a winter festival,” Till said. “I thought it would be fun to have a town Christmas tree. We started brainstorming ideas, and it all started coming together.”
