S. Whitley organization plans spring ‘spruce-up’ day Saturday

May 8, 2014

South Whitley Main St. is organizing a second Spring Spruce-Up day Saturday from 8 to 10 a.m.

Everyone is welcome to participate in a few hours of cleaning to spruce up the town.

Volunteers are encouraged to bring work gloves and need to meet at the bandstand by Town Hall to register, pick up a trash bag and a water bottle before heading out to clean.

Volunteers will be assigned an area. Neighbors and friends may also join together to clean up their own neighborhoods. Groups need to register at the bandstand so total tally of participants can be collected.
For additional information, call Mark Mynhier at 609-3402 or Darci Kessie at 723-6128.
