SALES ALL AROUND TOWN: South Whitley's annual garage sale this weekend

SOUTH WHITLEY — Springtime brings the blooming of bright colored flowers, warmer weather and the glorious sun deciding to stay out for more than one day.
In the town of South Whitley, the season also means vintage tools, rare glassware, household goods, clothes, toys, furniture and thousands of treasurers, as the legendary Garage Sale and Craft Festival is slated for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Sponsored by the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce, and an annual tradition since 2001, treasure hunters and sellers will fill the town, crowd the restaurants and jam the streets and sidewalks during this two-day event.
