Sally Bitting, 57

Sally Kay Bitting, peacefully passed away on April 28, 2011 at Northridge Village Nursing Home in Albion, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was the youngest daughter of Ford Z. and Mary Emeline Bitting. Sally was born April 17, 1954 and was a 1972 graduate of Central Noble High School.
She spent most of her adult life in San Diego working for a branch of the Federal Government. Sally moved back to Indiana in 2003 to spend more time with her mother. It was during this time that Sally shared her love of gardening and garage-saling with her mother.
She is survived by her mother, Emeline Bitting of Columbia City; sisters, Mary Castle of South Bend and Barbara Lockett of Wichita, Kan.; and a brother, Clifford (Charla) Bitting of Albion. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive her.
A memorial service will be held at the Cornerstone Wesleyan Church in Merriam at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Memorials may be made to the Cancer Services of Northeastern Indiana.
