Samantha Sue (Spencer) Wagner, 26

Samantha Sue (Spencer) Wagner, 26, a former resident of Churubusco and more recently of Richmond, passed away unexpectedly at 10:09 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at Reid Hospital in Richmond.
Samantha was born on Dec. 10, 1985 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of Michael A. and Cathy (Lonsbury) Wagner. She spent her formative years near Churubusco, graduated from Churubusco High School in 2004, and also attended Indiana-Purdue University in Fort Wayne.
On October 20, 2007 she was married in Churubusco to Austin Wagner. Since that time she had been a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker.
The surviving relatives include her husband Austin; her children Evie Noelle Wagner, age 3, and Remington Andrew Wagner, born October 30, 2012; her parents Michael and Cathy Spencer of Churubusco; a brother Bobby M. (Jessica) Spencer of Oxford, Oh; the paternal grandparents Robert C. and Judith Spencer of Churubusco; the maternal grandmother Sharon Lonsbury of Huntertown; her in-laws Robert and Leanne Wagner of LaOtto; two brothers-in-law Landon (Amy) Wagner and their children Ayla, Maylan, and Harris of Columbia City, and Benjamin (Katie) Wagner and their children Claire and Hudson of Churubusco; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her “little brother” Andrew C. “Andy” Spencer on July 16, 2009; and her maternal grandfather Clyde F. Lonsbury.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a. m. on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Faith Lutheran Church in Churubusco with Pastor Lane Burgland, officiating.
The family will receive friends at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco from 2 to 8 p. m. on Sunday, or at the church one hour prior to the service Monday morning.
Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery, south of Churubusco.
