Santa to share breakfast with kids

November 29, 2013

COLUMBIA CITY — After Santa is led into downtown Columbia City tonight with the Lighted Christmas Parade, he will make several appearances throughout the holiday season.

A breakfast with Santa Claus is planned for Saturday, Dec. 7 at 8:30 a.m. and at 10 a.m.

The meal will be held at Downtown On The Square and is sponsored by the restaurant and Starr CPA & Associates, LLC.

There is no charge for the event, however, donations are appreciated.

This will be the second community event brought to downtown by the Columbia City Main Street Association.

In September, the association hosted a movie night on the Whitley County Courthouse lawn.

A large screen projection of the animated film, “Wall-E,” was played, and popcorn and water served.

With Santa’s breakfast, children have the option of two different serving times and can also have their photos taken with Saint Nick.
To take part in the event, reservations can be made by calling 244-6388 or 244-4011.
