SCHOOL PERFORMANCE: Grad rates, grades on the rise for WCCS

April 23, 2014

COLUMBIA CITY — Whitley County Consolidated Schools posted “excellent” results in Indiana’s recent evaluation of the district, in the eyes of WCCS Superintendent Patricia O’Connor.

Columbia City High School’s graduation rate also improved from 93 percent in 2012 to 94.7 percent in 2013.

“That increase is outstanding,” O’Connor said. “Thank you to all teachers, administrators, parents and students for making that happen.”
Little Turtle Elementary also showed a strong improvement in the state’s A-F grading system.
