SELFIE SATURDAY: Rachel Alexander

Rachel Alexander, of Columbia City, has worked at Accu-Tool, Inc. for 13 years as quality control manager and as an orthopedic machinist.
Alexander enjoys gardening, live music and chasing her six year old son Isaac around.

She currently volunteers within the community as a director with Giving Gardens of Indiana, a coordinator on several Parent-Teacher Organization projects for Coesse Elementary School and she volunteered in the past with Special Olympics and Whole Health Wellness Center.
Alexander has lived in Columbia City all but two years of her life.

P&M: What do you like most about living in Whitley County?
Alexander: “What I like most about Columbia City is the small-town feel.”

P&M: What’s your favorite fast food restaurant?
Alexander: “My favorite fast food restaurant is Chipotle.”

P&M: What’s the number one playlist on your iPhone, iPod, or MP3 Player?
Alexander: ”I love a broad range of music anywhere from funk and hip-hop, to reggae and jazz.”

P&M: Would you rather go to Wal-Mart or Target?
Alexander: “I would rather go to Target.”

P&M: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Alexander: “I wanted to be a teacher.”

P&M: What celebrity do people say you most resemble?
Alexander: “Most people say I look like Gwyneth Paltrow, but I’d like to think I look like She-Ra The Princess of Power.”
