THE SEVENTIES: First in a series of front page Decade books now available at The Post & Mail

April 22, 2014

COLUMBIA CITY — A new hard-bound coffee table keepsake book has been published by The Post & Mail and is now available for purchase.

“The Seventies: A Decade of Front Pages in The Post & Mail” contains 165 front pages from Whitley County’s daily newspaper.

At $24 plus tax, the book is a perfect gift idea for Mothers Day, Fathers Day, birthdays – or as a gift for yourself.

The large 13.5” x 11.5” format of the book, plus a 5”x 7” magnifier, make for an enjoyable reading experience as readers examine the years 1970-1979 page by page.

The 165 front page reproductions are from the pages of the Columbia City Post and The Commercial-Mail, the two daily newspapers published in the county during the decade.

This is the first in a series of Decade front page books to be published by The Post & Mail, with The Eighties and The Sixties also planned yet this year.

You can begin your personal collection of front pages by purchasing “The Seventies” today.

An advertisement on Page B4 gives details on how you can acquire your copy.
