SEVERE WEATHER

(June 12, 2013) -- The National Weather Service has issued a thunderstorm watch for Whitley County until 3 a.m. Thursday. A warning means conditions are favorable for increasing storms and severe weather. Whitley County residents are encouraged to seek shelter.

In addition to severe weather, the National Weather Service has also issued a flood warning. Large amounts of rainfall could create flooding and flash flooding in low areas.
